1860 – Wayne County, Kentucky. William Marsh 21, is married to Minerva Marsh 19. They have two children, William 4, and Levina Jane, 1.

1870 – District 1, Wayne County, Kentucky. Harrison Marsh, 32 (one record says 31), is a farmer married to Minerva, 31 (one record says 26). In the household are William R., 13, a farm laborer, Vienna J. 10, Mary E. 9, Lucy 8, Thomas 6, Abby 4, and Joseph 2. Everyone in the household was born in Kentucky.

1880 – Mullentown, Wayne County, Kentucky. William H. Marsh, 40, is living with Minerva Marsh 38, Thomas Marsh 15, Alba Marsh 13, Joseph Marsh 11, Martha W. Marsh 7, Frankie E. Marsh 4, and John E. Marsh, infant, plus Mary E. Vaughn 16, and Lucy Vaughn five months,

1900 – Slickford, Wayne County, Kentucky. Harrison Marsh, 62, is living with Minerva Marsh, 59.

1910 – Slickford, Wayne County, Kentucky. William H. Marsh, 65, is married to Arbecca Marsh, 17.

Davis census records

1840 – Clinton County, Kentucky. John Davis, 48, is living with one male 5-10, one 10-15, and one female 40 (Rebecca). This is the only John Davis in the 1840 Kentucky census that has a male the age of George B. Davis born 15 October 1825, which would make him 14 at the time of the census, and Azariah, born about 1830-35.

1850 – Division I, Wayne County, Kentucky. Moses Upchurch, 60, a farmer, and Catherine, 55, are listed with their children Shadrach 19, and John 16.

1860 – Wayne County, Kentucky. Harrison Marsh, 21, and Minerva, 19, have two children, William, 4, and Levina Jane, 1.

1870 – Wayne County, Kentucky. Harrison Marsh, 31, and Minerva, 26, have William R., 13, Vienna J. 10, Mary E. (Elizabeth) 9?, Lucy 8, Thomas 6, Abby 4, and Joseph 2.

Davis 43, farmer, is married to Elizabeth 42, and in the household are Minerva J. 19, Morton (Newton) B. 17, Milly A. 15, John 12, Lina 10, Tennessee 8, and Lucinda 6. Newton’s name is actually written as “Morton.”

1930 – Kingston District, Bartow County, Georgia. Newton B. Davis, 77, is listed with his wife Lizzie, 65, both born in Kentucky, living with a couple named Noah and Lucy Minton. Lucy is Mary Elizabeth’s sister. Noah is Noah Garfield Minton.

1920 – Lafayette Ward 7, Tippecanoe County, Indiana. Millard Davis, 25, works in the supply department of a railroad shop. His wife is Rosie, 22, and their children are Roy Davis 6, Grace Davis 23 months, and Clifford Davis 8 months.

1930 – Lafayette, Tippecanoe County, Indiana. Millard Davis 35, born in Kentucky, is a garage helper. His wife is Rosa, 32, born in Kentucky, and their children are Roy Davis 16, born in Kentucky, and Grace Davis 12, Leonard Davis 9, Howard Davis 7, Josie Davis 5, Melvin Davis 3 years and 1 month, and Herbert Davis 1.

1930 – Rome, Floyd, Georgia. Byrd Davis 29, is married to Pauline Davis, 25, and they have three children: Evelyn Davis 5, Mary E. Davis 2 years and 2 months, and Alfred O. Davis, one month.

Privett census records

1830 – Madison County, Kentucky. Samuel Prwet, 30-40, could be Samuel Privett. The only problem is that his wife is 20-30, whereas Elizabeth would have been 35.

1840 – Wayne County, Kentucky. Samuel Prwit, 40-50,  listed, with a wife 40-50 and nine children.

1850 – Wayne County, Kentucky. Samuel Privit, 60, a farmer from Virginia, is living with Elizabeth 5?, born in North Carolina, and their children Robert 17 and Caroline 16, both born in North Carolina, and Sarah 13, born in Kentucky.

1860 – Wayne County, Kentucky. Samuel Privett 79 and Elizabeth 60 are living with a child, Washington Upchurch, 6.

1870 – Wayne County, Kentucky. Elizabeth Privitt, 74, is keeping house, with a female, Upchurch Privitt, 20, Washington Upchurch 15, and Mary 1.
